A Day of Firsts for Nolin

Nolin had a day of firsts today.  The afternoon started with her first trip to the dentist.  She was as cool as a cucumber.  Haha.  She really did great!  I'm super proud of my big girl.  No cavities & no tears.  :)  For being such a good patient, she got a cool frog to take home, as well as a new toothbrush, floss, & toothpaste.

She even got to sit on the rhinoceros at the end!

When we left the dentist, we went for a fun little mommy-daughter date to get our nails painted.  We wanted to do something festive, so we picked a sparkly red with white sparkles on top to look like snowflakes.  Mommy got two big snowflakes.

I wish I had taken a picture of Nolin while getting her nails done.  She was a pro! We did have a little mishap when she couldn't get her hair out of her face & she cried.  :( Mommy held her for the rest of the time.  I think she was just a little embarrassed by the attention she was getting from everyone.  :)
