Harris' Preschool - Letter H

This week we studied letter H! I have to admit, I've been slacking a little with not planning as many activities lately. So after H, we will be taking a little letter break & focusing on some Christmas fun!

H is for Harmonica - Harris enjoyed looking through his letter H box...he especially loved finding the harmonica & his hat!
Making letter H with the dobber
H is for Hearts! Harris decorated his letter for the wall with lots of hearts.
H is for Hot Chocolate - Harris counted marshmallows to put into his mugs of hot chocolate. Of course, we ate a few when we were finished! :)
Harris sorted upper & lowercase letter H's.
H is for House!
Harris identified numbers 1-6 by drawing them from a pile & then finding them on his heart. He is starting to remember the numbers a bit better!
H is for Helicopter! I made helicopter landing pads out of letters & called out where Harris needed to land his helicopter. He did a great job & had lots of fun while doing it.
Building letter H with pattern blocks
H is for Hippo!
H is for Hat - The kids made thinking hats! I had all sorts of craft items out, but they didn't want to use many of them for this project.

For the next few weeks we will be enjoying some fun Christmas activities & crafts! It's the most wonderful time of year! :)

After that, we might try to get a couple more letters in before baby sister arrives & causes us to take a short leave!
