In honor of Nolin's birthday this year, we took our first trip into DC! Nolin wanted to ride the Metro & go to a museum. So, that's exactly what we did! :) We took a walk around the National Mall, visited the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the reflecting pool, & the WWII Memorial. Then we had a hot dog & ice cream picnic in the grass. We finished off the day with a little trip to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.
It was a stressful (mostly for Mom & Dad), but super fun day! I think we have learned a little about traveling into DC with all three kiddos! ;)
