Paul & I decided that instead of lots of presents, we were going to give our children "experiences" for their birthdays. I have known for a long time that I wanted Nolin's Second Birthday Experience to be a trip to the zoo. So, we waited until she turned two to take her. Today was the day - our family took our first trip to the
Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle! We actually bought a family pass so that we can go all year now.
Nolin really enjoyed the trip. She was able to see lions, bears, zebras, giraffes, elephants, gorillas, snakes, tigers, peacocks, hippos, & lots more. There is also a zoomasium for kids eight & under. Nolin enjoyed playing there & going down the slide.
Harris enjoyed the trip also. He is such a sweet boy! He just cuddled me or Daddy while we walked around.
We are looking forward to visiting again soon! :)
